RunSafer University is close to my heart, as I have a daughter that will be leaving for college next year. Living away from home for the first time means that kids are learning many new things...how to do laundry on their own, making their own food, etc. They may never have had to think about safety in certain situations before, like being out late at night on their own. That's why I encourage all students heading to college to at least have a basic knowledge of how to stay out of dangerous situations and how to protect themselves if ever attacked.
Here's the emdorsement from Coach Braman:
Bob Braman, Head Coach Florida State Track and Cross Country 2006 & 2008 NCAA Champions
"The RunSafer program is a fantastic way to teach our student-athletes to know how to be alert when running." "It also arms our athletes with the best way to protect themselves if ever attacked."
"I'm so appreciative that this service is available.
