RUNSAFER UNIVERSITY
RunSafer University is all about educating the collegiate athlete about the importance of safety as well as taking advantage of the athletic experience while in school. Todd brings a unique skill set with certifications in self defense and a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt. As well as being a Two-Time Olympian and full athletic scholarship athlete while competing at the University of Tennessee in Cross Country and Track and Field.
Todd will visit your University or College and perform a one hour workshop. The workshop will cover very important safety awareness tips and self offensive techniques that could possibly save individuals from harm if they ever found themselves in a dangerous situation. He will also talk about the importance of taking advantage of the college athletic experience and not wasting time! It's a great tool to have Todd come to your school to not only get your athletes motivated but to give them valuable techniques to keep them safer while on campus as an athlete. Please contact us to discuss details and secure your date in 2014. |

ENDORSEMENTS
Rew Woodruff, Director of VOLife Skills and Career Development Program at University of Tennessee:
My name is Rew Woodruff, and I am the Director of the VOLife Skills and Career Development program here in the UT Athletics Department. Todd Williams and his team came to campus last week and presented and demonstrated self-defense strategies to young women in our Rowing, Softball, Tennis, and Track and Field programs. The session was phenomenal, and I am 100% certain that all of the ladies took a lot of great things from the time with Todd and his group. I would most definitely recommend Todd’s presentation to the rest of our athletic department, to any of my counterparts across the country. |
Nicole Jameson - Assistant Director of the Total Person Program at Georgia Tech:
Todd hosted a RunSafer self-defense course for our female student-athletes recently. It was the highlight of our Total Person Programming (life skills) for females by far this year. It was more than a "do this, don't do that" type of program, student-athletes actually practiced moves and were able to interact throughout the program. This is definitely a program that our student-athletes have asked to have again. We will work to have RunSafer come back. I recommend this program to any other Life Skills departments across the country. Bob Braman, Head Coach Florida State Track and Cross Country 2006 & 2008 NCAA Champions
"The RunSafer program is a fantastic way to teach our student-athletes to know how to be alert when running." "It also arms our athletes with the best way to protect themselves if ever attacked." "I'm so appreciative that this service is available. |

While in Chicago, IL for RunSafer we stopped at Naperville Central High School for Todd to give his "What it Takes" presentation to the kids. Below is an endorsement from one of the parents.
Todd, I just wanted to thank you again for coming out to our high school to speak to the kids about "what it takes". I know you have a busy schedule so I appreciate you fitting us in. I think the kids got a lot out of it and it will motivate them going forward. Attached is a picture of the group that I took. Good luck with everything this weekend and in the future. Matt |
